Seat Position Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2. Disable air bag system. Refer to Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming.
3. Remove front seat.
4. Disconnect seat position sensor connector at seat harness.




5. Remove seat position sensor bolt (1) and seat position sensor (2) from seat adjuster.

Installation

Reference: Seat Position Sensor Inspection




1. Install seat position sensor on seat adjuster and tighten seat position sensor bolt to specified torque.

Tightening torque
Seat position sensor bolt a: 8 N.m (0.8 kg-m, 6.0 lb-ft)

2. Connect seat position sensor connector at seat harness.
3. Install front seat.
4. Enable air bag system. Refer to Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming.
5. Connect negative cable at battery.
