Back-Up Light Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Undo clamp and disconnect coupler of back-up light switch.
  2. Function of back-up light switch can be checked with ohmmeter (1). See Fig 1 . There should be continuity at component terminals only when shift lever is shifted to reverse position.
  3. Upon completion of check, connect coupler and clamp wiring harness as they were.
    NOTE: When replacing switch, use care not ot let dust enter transmission through switch hole.
