Removal & Installation

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Disconnect wiring under applicable front seat. Remove seat mounting nuts and bolts. Remove seat from vehicle. Remove seat reclining adjuster knob, clip and height adjuster knob. See Fig 1. Remove front seat shield covers. Remove seat back mounting bolts. Remove front seat back from seat cushion. DO NOT disassemble front seat back.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten seat nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
