Intermittent Wiper Relay Circuit On-Vehicle Inspection
- Disconnect negative cable (-) at battery.
- Disconnect combination switch lead wire coupler.
- Turn the front wiper switch to INT position.
- Turn the intermittent time control switch to FAST position.
- Connect battery positive terminal to terminal "B3" and battery negative terminal to terminal "E".
- Connect voltmeter positive lead to terminal "+1" and negative lead to terminal "E". Check that the voltmeter indicates the battery voltage (10-14 V).

- Connect terminal "As" and terminal "B3" by a jumper wire. Then connect terminal "B3" end to terminal "E". Observe the voltmeter voltage drops to 0 V right after connecting the jumper wire from terminal "B3" to "E". Then the voltage rises to battery voltage (10 - 14 V) within the time shown in the table below.
