Removal & Installation

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Turn ignition off. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL . Remove bracket securing passenger-side air bag module to instrument panel. See Fig 1. Remove passenger-side air bag module.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
