Engine Control Module (Powertrain Control Module) Replacement

CAUTION: When ECM (PCM) is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until adaptation systems have completed a relearn cycle. See SUZUKI in COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article under GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

When substituting a known-good ECM (PCM), check for following conditions. Neglecting this check may cause damage to a known-good ECM (PCM).
