Park/Neutral Start Switch: Installation
CAUTION:
When installing park/neutral start switch, use Park Neutral (P/N) Switch Installer and shift lever must be positioned at Neutral.
- Install the park/neutral start switch.
- Adjust the park/neutral start switch using the P/N switch installer. See Fig 1 .
- Install the shift lever and the shift lever nut. Tighten shift lever nut to the specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . See Fig 2 .
- Connect the shift control cable and the retaining clip.
- Connect the park/neutral start switch electrical connector.
- Install the air filter housing.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
