Floor Console: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the glow box, instrument panel lower cover, cigar lighter trim panel and stereo cassette player.
Remove the console cover. See Fig 1 .
Remove the screw from the rear portion of the floor console. See Fig 2 .
Remove the screw from the front portion of the floor console. See Fig 3 .
Remove the floor console.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
