Conditions for Setting the DTC

Temperature has not changed more than 3.5 °C (38.3 °F).
Engine speed is greater than 500 rpm.
System voltage is greater than 9 volts.
No CAN error DTCs P1671, P1672, and P1673.
No vehicle speed error DTCs P0720, P0721, or P0722.
Vehicle speed is greater than 20 km/h (12 mph) for 500 sec. cumulative.
Temperature at start up is between -40 °C (-40 °F) and 20 °C (68 °F).
Engine coolant temperature has changed by more than 50 °C (122 °F) since start up.
