Fuel Rail and Injectors Removal

WARNING: The fuel system is under pressure. To avoid fuel spillage and the risk of personal injury or fire, it is necessary to relieve the fuel system pressure before disconnecting the fuel lines.

Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel System Pressure Relief .
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the fuel pressure regulator. Refer to Fuel Pressure Regulator Removal .
Disconnect the fuel feeding pipe from the fuel rail.

Remove the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL .

Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness connector.
Remove the fuel rail assembly.

Remove the fuel injector retainer clip.
Remove the fuel injectors by pulling then down and out.
