Axle Shaft Oil Seal: Removal
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the bore of the transaxle case.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the axle shaft. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in AXLE SHAFT article in DRIVELINE/AXLES.
- Remove the transaxle drive seal using a screwdriver. If necessary, crush the seal first with the screwdriver in order to loosen the seal from the case. See Fig 1 .
