Axle Shaft Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Install the transaxle drive seal using the axle seal installer (DW260-030-01 Axle Installer LH or DW260-030-02 Axle Installer RH). See Fig 1 .
  2. Install the axle shafts. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in AXLE SHAFT article in DRIVELINE/AXLES. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
