Front Strut: Removal

Raise and suitable support the vehicle.
Remove the cap and nuts from the strut upper area. See Fig 1.
Remove the front wheels.
On vehicles equipped with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), disconnect the ABS sensor line from the strut assembly.
On all models, remove the brake hose "E" ring and dislocate the brake hose. See Fig 2.
Remove the strut bracket bolts and nuts. See Fig 2.
Remove the strut assembly.
