Control Arm: Reassembly

  1. Coat the control arm rear shaft with a multipurpose lubricant.
  2. Press the control arm front bushing into the control arm using a press, the Removal/Installer (KM-508-A) and the Removal Plate (KM-307-B). See Figure. Center the bushing.
  3. Coat the outside of the control arm front bushing and the inside of the control arm with a multipurpose lubricant.
  4. Press the control arm rear bushing into the control arm using a press, the Remover/Installer (KM-508-A), and the Removal Plate (KM-307-B). See Fig 1. Center the bushing.
  5. Install the control arm. See INSTALLATION .
