Removal & Installation: CROSSMEMBER: Installation
- Install the stabilizer bar onto the crossmember assembly. See Figure. Tighten the stabilizer bar bolts and nuts to 37 Ft. Lbs. (50 N.m).
- Install the crossmember bolts-to-control arm, nuts-to-longitudinal and crossmember. See Figure. Tighten the crossmember bolts-to-control arm and nuts-to-longitudinal to 110 Ft. Lbs. (150 N.m).
- Install the out tie rod and control arm ball joint.
- Install the front exhaust pipe and centermember.
- On models with manual transaxle, install the shift control bracket and clip. See Figure.
- On all models, install the steering interim shaft and bolt. See Figure. Tighten the steering interim shaft bolt to 18 Ft. Lbs. (25 N.m).
- Install the power steering pipe union nuts. See Figure. Tighten the power steering pipe union nuts to 22 Ft. Lbs. (30 N.m).
- Fill the power steering oil into the power steering system.
