Disabling & Activating Air Bag System
WARNING:
Accidental air bag deployment is possible. Personal injury may result. Read and follow all service precautions. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Turn steering wheel to straight-ahead position. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position and remove key. Remove AIR BAG fuse from instrument panel fuse block. Wait one minute before beginning work on air bag system components.
- To activate air bag system, turn ignition switch to LOCK position and remove key. Install AIR BAG fuse in instrument panel fuse block. Go to SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
