Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Clutch Pedal Shaft & Bracket

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the clutch cable. Refer to Clutch Control Cable Replacement .
Remove the clutch pedal bracket mounting bolts from the cowl.
Release the clutch pedal return spring.
Remove the clutch pedal shaft nut.
Remove the clutch pedal shaft.
Remove the clutch pedal from the mounting bracket.
Remove the clutch pedal mounting shaft bushings.
Remove the clutch pedal return spring.
