Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Fig 1: Tie Rod Lock Nuts & Outer Tie Rod

Install the outer tie rod by tightening the lock nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 54 N.m (40 lb ft).

Install the outer tie rod by tightening the hex nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
