Inspection Procedure

Clean the brake components.
Inspect the brake drum. Replace the drum, if necessary. Refer to Brake Drum Surface and Wear Inspection .

Apply lubricant to the adjuster assembly.
Inspect the threads of the adjuster assembly for smooth rotation.
