Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
Remove the rear timing belt cover (2). Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement.

Remove the coolant pump nuts (2).
Remove the bolts (1).
Remove the coolant pump (3,4).
Remove the gasket.
