Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Suzuki Swift +, 2005 Pontiac Wave, and 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the floor carpet.
  2. Install the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Install the left and the right front rocker, trim panels.
  4. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket in Seats.
  5. Install the left and the right lower B-pillar trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar .
    6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the left and the right lower front seat belt anchors to the lower/center pillar with the bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat belt anchor bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

  7. Install the rear seatback. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear .
  8. Install the left and the right rear rocker trim panels. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
