Removal Procedure

  1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
  2. NOTE: The hoses must be plugged just after removal to prevent foreign material contaminants from entering the power steering system. Contamination could lead to deterioration of the steering components and loss of steering action.
  3. Loosen the hose clamps and remove both hoses.
  4. Fig 2: Fluid Reservoir & Attaching Bolts

  5. Remove the fluid reservoir attaching bolts and remove the fluid reservoir.
