Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the upper and the lower starter mounting bolts.

Remove the starter solenoid nuts to disconnect the electrical cable.
Remove the starter assembly.
