Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the trim panel screws.
Remove the trim panel.

Turn the stop lamp switch and the connector assembly, and pull it from the brake pedal bracket.
Separate the stop lamp switch from the connector to replace the stop lamp switch.
