Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the electronic ignition (EI) system ignition coil connector.
Note the ignition wire location and remove the ignition wire.
Remove the EI system ignition coil retaining nuts.
Remove the EI system ignition coil.
