Disabling the SIR System

- Turn the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key.
- Remove the air bag fuse F8 in the I/P fuse block and wait more than 1 minute for the SIR capacitor to discharge.
- Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones for proper zone disabling and enabling.
