Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the lock cylinder with the nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the luggage compartment lock cylinder nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the lock rod.
Install the hatchback door lower garnish molding, if equipped. Refer to Hatchback Door Lower Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
