Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

With the aid of another technician, install the hatchback door to the hinges with the bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the hatchback door hinge bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the gas support assemblies to the hatchback door and the body. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate .
Connect the hatchback door electrical connector, the washer hose, and the grommet.
Close the hatchback door.
