Installation Procedure

Connect the lock rods and the electrical connector.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the hatchback lock with the screws.
Tighten: Tighten the hatchback door lock screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Install the hatchback door lower garnish molding. Refer to Hatchback Door Lower Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
Close the hatchback door.
