Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the lower steering column cover panel by removing the screws.

With the key in the ignition, turn to ACC and remove the lock cylinder.
To remove the lock cylinder of the switch cylinder housing, press down the detent spring with a 2.5 Allen wrench, or other suitable tool, and pull out the lock cylinder.

Remove the ignition switch retaining screw.
Disconnect the wiring and remove the ignition switch.
