Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the gear shift control lever assembly and bolts (1).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 4-7 N.m (35-62 lb in).
Adjust the select cables. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
Connect the select and shift control cable. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
Install the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Notchback) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Hatchback) .
