Conditions for Running
- The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is more than 70°C (158°F).
- The ignition 1 voltage is more than 10 volts.
- The engine is operating for more than 60 seconds.
- The EVAP purge command is less than 20 percent.
- The engine speed is between 1,500-3,000 RPM.
- The airflow into the engine is between 9-30 g/s. This requires that the vehicle be driven and then allow the engine to idle.
