Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Installing Coolant Pump And Mounting Bolts

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the coolant pump with new gasket.
Install the coolant pump mounting bolts (1) and nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the rear timing belt cover (1). Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement in Engine Mechanical 1.2L.
Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Connect the negative battery cable.
