Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the engine mounting lower bracket mounting bolts (1).
Tighten: Tighten the engine mounting lower bracket bolts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
Install the engine mount reaction rod mounting bolt and nut (3).
Tighten: Tighten the engine mount lower bracket, attaching reaction rod bolt and nut to 83 N.m (61 lb ft).

Install the generator-adjusting bolt (1). Leave loose at this time.
Install the generator lower bracket bolt and nut (2). Leave loose at this point.
Install the generator drive belt.
Adjust the generator so the drive belt is tight.
Tighten:
- Tighten the generator lower bracket bolt and nut to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Tighten the generator-adjusting bolt to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

Connect the harness connector to the back of the generator (2).
Connect the generator battery lead and install the nut (1).
Tighten: Tighten the generator battery lead nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
Inspect the generator drive belt tension.
