Shift Control Lever Assembly: Installation

Install the shift control assembly.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts and nuts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).

Install the shift control cable onto the bracket.
Install the shift control cable adjuster pinch nut.
Tighten

Tighten the shift control cable adjuster pinch nut to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).

Connect the electrical switch connectors.

Install the floor console. See FLOOR CONSOLE .
Connect the negative battery cable.
