Control Valve Body Assembly: Installation

  1. Tilt the valve body.
  2. Install the output speed sensor mounting bolt. Tighten the bolts to the specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
  3. Install the control valve body and the bolts.
  4. Install the input speed sensor mounting bolt.
  5. Install the oil pan and oil pan gasket. See Figure .
  6. Install the transaxle fluid drain plug using the plug remove/installer. See Figure .
  7. Install the engine under cover.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the transaxle wiring harness and the PNP switch electrical connector.
  10. Refill the transaxle. See CHECKING FLUID LEVEL  under LUBRICATION.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.
