Knuckle Disassembly And Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the knuckle from the vehicle. Refer to KNUCKLE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
  2. Remove the brake caliper and brake rotor.
  3. Remove the dust cap, the cotter pin, the castellated nut, the lock washer, and the wheel hub.
  4. On vehicles equipped with rear disc brakes, remove the rear disc brake assembly.
  5. Remove the brake splash shield.
