Stabilizer Shaft And Insulators: Installation

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator clamps, the stabilizer shaft clamp bolt, and the insulators onto the crossmember. See Figure . Do not tighten the bolt.
  3. Install the stabilizer link onto the stabilizer shaft and connect them with the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer link nut. See Figure .
    • Tighten the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer link nut to 47 N.m (35 Ft. Lbs.).
    • Tighten the stabilizer shaft-to-crossmember clamp bolts to 25 N.m (18 Ft. Lbs.).
  4. Install the front wheels.
