Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Read and follow service precautions. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . If SIR diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check has not been performed, go to SIR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
  2. Visually inspect SIR system connectors. If mis-connected connector is found and corrected, reconnect properly and retest system. Go to SIR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK . If connectors are connected properly, go to next step.
  3. Replace SIR wiring harness. Go to SIR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
