Windshield Wiper Motor Installation

CAUTION: Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.
  1. Install the wiper motor with the bolts.
    1. Tighten the wiper motor bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb-in).
  2. Connect the electrical connector.

  3. Press the wiper arm linkage onto the motor drive shaft.
  4. Install the wiper arm linkage to the motor drive shaft with the washer and the nut.
    1. Tighten the wiper arm linkage nut to 8.5 N.m (75 lb-in).
  5. Install the left side portion of the cowl vent grille with the screws.
    1. Tighten the cowl vent grille screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb-in).
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
