A/C High-Pressure Pipe Line Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Discharging, Adding Oil, Evacuating, and Charging Procedures for A/C System .
Remove the nut at the compressor hose connecting block.
Disconnect the electrical connector at the pressure transducer.

Remove the nut at the condenser connecting block.

Remove the high-pressure pipe-to-receiver-dryer connecting block retaining nut.

Remove the surge tank. Refer to SURGE TANK REMOVAL .
Remove the high-pressure pipe-to-evaporator flange connecting block retaining nut.

Remove the bolt and the nut which secure the clamps that hold the high pressure pipe to the vehicle.
Remove the high-pressure pipe from the vehicle.
Cap the opening at the receiver-dryer to prevent contamination.
