Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes Using AIR Bag Monitor Connector

Turn ignition on. Wait at least 6 seconds. Using jumper wire, short air bag test connector to ground 5 times at about one second intervals within a maximum time frame of 10 seconds. See Fig 1. Retrieve codes again and ensure DTC 12 (normal DTC) is present.
