Removal & Installation

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove glove box, instrument panel lower cover, cigarette lighter trim panel and audio unit. Remove console cover. See Fig 1. Remove screws from rear section of center console. See Fig 2. Remove center console rear section.
Remove screws from front section of center console. See Fig 3. Remove front section of center console.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system.
