Propeller Shaft Removal and Installation: Installation

- Reverse removal procedure to install propeller shaft, noting following point.
- When installing propeller shaft, align the match marks (2). Otherwise, vibration may occur during driving.
- Use following specification to torque each bolt and nut.
Tightening torque
Propeller shaft No.1 bolts (a): 23 N.m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 Ft.Lbs.)
Propeller shaft No.2 bolts (b): 23 N.m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 Ft.Lbs.)
Center coupling bolts (c): 23 N.m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 Ft.Lbs.)
Center support nuts (d): 50 N.m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 Ft.Lbs.)
