Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Removal and Installation: Installation

Check O-ring (1) and VSS surface for their flawlessness, apply oil to O-ring and then install VSS to transaxle.
Tightening torque

VSS bolt (a): 5.5 N.m (0.55 kg-m, 4.0 lb-ft)

Connect VSS coupler (1).

Connect negative cable at battery.
