Radiator Cooling Fan and A/C Condenser Cooling Fan Control Pressure Switch

  1. Connect manifold gauge set to charging valves.
  2. Run engine and A/C switch ON.
  3. Check continuity between "c" and "d" terminals of A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) when A/C refrigerant pressure is changed, as shown in figure.

    If operation is not as specified, replace A/C refrigerant pressure switch.

A/C refrigerant pressure switch specifications 

"A": Approx. 200 kPa (2.0 kg/cm2 , 28.5 psi)

"B": Approx. 230 kPa (2.3 kg/cm2 , 32.5 psi)

"C": Approx. 2600 kPa (26 kg/cm2 , 370 psi)

"D": Approx. 3200 kPa (32 kg/cm2 , 455 psi)

"E": Approx. 1100 kPa (11 kg/cm2 , 156 psi)

"F": Approx. 1500 kPa (15 kg/cm2 , 213 psi)
