Stabilizer Link: Installation

  1. Install the stabilizer link and nuts. See Figure.
    CAUTION: The weight of the vehicle must be supported by the control arms before the stabllizer-link-to-control arm nuts or the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer link nuts are tightened. This can be done by lowering the vehicle onto jack stands under the control arms.
  2. Lower the vehicle so the control arms are supported by jack stands. Tighten the stabilizer link nuts to 37 Ft. Lbs. (50 N.m).
