Draining & Refilling

  1. Lift up vehicle.
  2. When engine is cool, remove drain plug "1" from transaxle housing "2" and drain Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). See Fig 1 .
  3. Install a new gasket to drain plug "1".
  4. Install drain plug "1".
  5. Lower vehicle and fill with proper amount of recommended fluid. See RECOMMENDED FLUID  .
  6. Check fluid level, at normal temperature. See CHECKING FLUID LEVEL  .
