Throttle Body Assembly Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air filter outlet hose.

  4. Disconnect the throttle cable by opening the throttle and moving the cable through the release slot.

  6. Remove the coolant inlet and outlet hoses from the throttle body assembly.
  7. Disconnect the main throttle idle actuator (MTIA) connector.

  9. Remove the throttle body assembly.
  10. Remove the throttle body gasket.
    NOTE: Inspect the throttle body gasket for a distortion or damage.
