Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes Using Suzuki Scan Tool

The Suzuki scan tool can be used to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under left side of instrument panel, near steering column. Turn ignition on. Refer to scan tool operators manual for specific information on use.

NOTE: When there are 2 or more DTCs, the codes will be indicated from a smaller number to larger number in order. If there are no other codes set, DTC 12 indicates a normal condition.
